Note 999712 - SP for SAP_BASIS 702

$

Does anyone know what support package level you need for SAP_BASIS 702 for Note 999712 - PDF Conversion for Unicode?

It only gives it for 620, 640, 700, and 701 even though the last sentence in the note mentions 702.  I'm guessing its 8, 9, or 10 because we have a CRM system on 10 thats printing correctly and an ECC system on 7 thats not, but it would be nice to know officially.

Thanks,

Clint

Future of the SAP content server 6.4

$

Hi, all

We are in the middle of deciding if we should implement SAP content server 6.4 or not. The latest version is 6.4 which was almost 7 years old. Are you aware of any plan for SAP to have a newer release? I have searched all over in service marketplace and SDN and found no official answer.

I did find someone posted this question last year:

https://scn.sap.com/thread/2146142

Do you know if SAP's position has changed?

Thanks,

Jonathan.

Hi,

In 0CO_PC_01 data source in ECC RSA3 report, we are getting in the Cost Component column having blank values, which we are getting until yesterday. Based on this column we have built some report in BW. please suggest how to restore the Cost component column values in ECC.

Regards

Prakash.

Hello All

I have an old BW legacy system 3.5 but technically upgrade
to 7.0 – and for some good reasons we have implement a completely new BW 7.3 landscape
- and I have to bring some critical data
flows into the new landscape from the legacy landscape – I have create a
transport in the legacy BW system and I would like to bring into the new 7.3
landscape , both the systems are not connected and separate landscape–

  • How to bring the legacy transport into new
    landscape
  • Can we able to bring on OS level with the CO
    files
  • If you able to move the transport into the new 7.3
landscape will it be any version conflict errors?
  • What the best way to move the data flow from one
    system to another landscape ?

We are on Windows and SQL

Any help will be highly appreciates..

Hello,

I need to consume a web service in ABAP from a non-SAP application. The web service uses wsse:UsernameToken with PasswordDigest in the SOAP Header for authentication. However, I havent seen any documentation for using Password Digest in ABAP.

Is it possible to use Password Digest in ABAP?

Thanks

Ajay

Hello - We are performing a system copy from one AS-Java Machine to another. Both are running SAP NetWeaver 7.0 EHP1 SP5.

-

Export from Source without errors.

Import to Target ended with errors.

-

The error complains we had a perm license installed and a temp cannot be installed. It also complaiins that the "External System is not available" but the database is verified available. The JLAUNCH procs do not exist but at this point of the procedure I wouldn't expect them to be. Got most of the way thru the system copy procedure and ended with the following error:

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. Steve

Hi,

I've installed TRIAL VERSION of SAP Netweaver 7.0 on windows XP. A lot of document links ask for 'Service marketplace' login and password. I tried to register as a new user  on

https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap%28bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==%29/bc/bsp/spn/new_user_pass/infouser_request.htm

There it asked for 'Customer or Installation Number'.

In SAPGUI I found this information:

active hardware key: F1085946347

Installation NUmber: DEMOSYSTEM

License expires on : 19.09.2009

system no: 000000000311147814

I tried to register with 'Installation Number: DEMOSYSTEM' on above mentioned site but it gave me error.

How can I get login and password? I need to access various guides. Please help me on this.

Thanks and regards.

transport import problem

We seem to be having a problem with the imports. We are unable to export transports from dev system. We get the error below

The error below refers to some problem reading from table TCETARG. This table holds transport target groups. We have since deleted the group and have re-created again, still no luck with the import. We did tp connection tests and other tests on all levels to all systems and they dont report any problems at all. Any pointers to the problem would be helpful as the error code doesn't yield much when searched on market place, scn and internet.

Reading discrepancy datasource

$

0

Dear All,

I am working on a IS-U project as a BI 7.3 developer.

When a particular parent feeder is shutdown for maintenance, the DTs to which it supplies load/KWH will be routed to a temporary replacement feeder. When the parent feeder is up again the DTs are routed back. At the end of the month, this feeder and its child aggregate DTs will show discrepancy in per month reading because DTs reading > Parent feeder DT. Total DT redaing will consider load during supplied during the time its parent was shutdown.

This activity should be standard in IS-U because would be the case in every utilities enterprise. An activity that reconciles parent feeder and replacement readings to match child DTs aggregate reading. In short between  the parent feeder and DTs reading there should be minimum loss% (loss through copper wires is inevitable) But I am not able to find this in IS-U and is there a standard BW extractor which shows that the discrepancy between feeder reading and DTs is due to which replacement feeder and how much KWH was transferred during maintenance time?

This same scenario applies to DT to consumer.

Regards,

Cleo.

Using SAP WEBDISPATCHER with Proxy Reverse

Hi experts, how are things? Here is all great.

We have here at our company, the Enterprise Portal installed and running over version 7.3 SP08. We use the Apache with ProxyReverse and SAP WEB Dispatcher to the logon balance, because we have 1 DB+CI and 2 Application servers.

Some times ago we started a project to use only the SAP WEBDISPATCHER with Proxy Reverse, because we understand that this sofwtare can run both (Redirect and Logon balance).

But we have some doubts and I need to ask, if you could help us.

For example: We need to redirect :

FROM: http://server.domanin:port/irj/portal

TO: https://ourwebsite.domain/irj/portal, all in HTTPS protocol.

About the SSL we made the configuration and it is running fine.

Have you ever seen this rule before or configured it?

If you could help us, we would be appreciate.

Thanks

Marcos
