I am trying to install SAP Netweaver 7.3 EHP 3 64-bit trial version first time on my machine. But my installation is showing an error message on 'import abap' phase.

30 import monitor job are successfully completed . I am getting error on 31st job. Plz help me regarding this error Here is a snapshot of what I am getting.

I am also attaching the log files which are mentioned in error message. Please help me as soon as possible.

P.S :- while importing 31st job installation was interrupted because of power failure.

In an inbound AS2 sender scenario, we get the messages inside the seeburger workbench.

Its like messages are reaching seeburger but after that its not hitting the splitter entry (configuration already done and entry is maintained)and getting stuck in recovery monitor.

Trid to recover as well but no luck.

I have a client, who has SAP R3 and y need to develop some BAPI's, but I do not have and R3 environment to perform test.

The bottom line, If I install the NetWaver x64 developer edition, I can develop BAPI's that I can use as practice to later implement on my client Live environment?

Dear Experts,

we are building a sandbox in order to test the upgrade from CRM 4.0 to the latest Version. The problem that I have is I cannot find the correct Kernel DVD for Unicode/X64 on Windows & SQL Server. Sapinst tells me to provide CD-Label MSSQL:AKK:6.40:UKERNEL:*:AMD64. I have downloaded a bunch of CD's now, but none contains this CD label. Can someone provide a little help? Dear Experts,

I am not sure on this topic because my knowledge tells me that we need a solution manager for upgrading/patching netweaver components.

Now, I have just downloaded and installed a Portal for my own POC purposes to showcase to clients . Its currently 7.3 EHP1 SP0, I now need to upgrade it to 7.3 EHP1 latest pack or maybe at a later date 7.4

Without Solution Manager how I can achieve this ? Does SAP provide any other product or how can I download the required files for my whole portal upgrade if solution manager is not in picture.

Hello everybody,

I'm configuring my sytem to send and receive E-Mails. The system is configured according to the relevant SAP notes.

Sending of the e-mails to the corporate smtp server works fine, but I'm not able to receive mails.

I tried the  troubleshooting tipps from note 607108 and getting the following error: '554 Transaction failed'.

In other posts following suggestion are made:

(1) - The service SAPConnect in SICF is acive.

(2) - I disabled all inbound processing:

.              (a) - SO28- I deleted all lines

.              (b) - SCOT- I deleted all lines about the Inbound processing

(3) - Debugmode for SCOT is OFF (dbg-)

Has anyone an idea what to check next?

I would like to install sap fiori on our ECC6 EHP6 system, but I'm stuck with installation of UI addon.

Tx SAINT requires stack.xml for addon installation, but I cannot get it.

I tried to follow this note 1666368 - Installing UI add-on 1.0 for SAP NetWeaver

,but there is no more MOPZ transaction in solman 7.1, this is what is written in note:

In the "Select Add-Ons" section of transaction MOPZ, select the product version "UI add-on 1.0 for SAP NetWeaver".

I don't know where I can find Select Add-Ons section, all I can do is maintenance (SPS installation) or EHP7 installation...

Could you help me out?

We had some problem with the SAP time zone in the JAVA System (NW7.40 SP6).

We got this error message in the log file:

"The SAP time zone mapping is not properly initialized; time zone information cannot be exchanged between ABAP and UME"

For this we have applied SAP Note 994364, this has helped.

But now we have many entrys (Severity: info) in the log file like this:

We get every second one entry.

My questions is: how we can disable this messages?

Now, our team discussing on how we can use integrate based on ABAP Technology to integrate Enterprise Systems.

Then, we discovered the License, that SAP delivered, "SAP NetWeaver Foundation for Third Party".

I heard this license allows client to develop custom applications on standalone NetWeaver Application Server(ABAP/Java).

I think that the ABAP instance contains SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABA, and I have information that it allows to use also BRFplus,

but it is a little vague what function can be used.

Does anyone knows what component is included that license?

Especially, we want to know whather we can use NetWeaver Gateway with  standalone NetWeaver Application Server or not.

Hello.  I'm trying to configure cCTS for use with CHARM.  I have created my system clusters and defined a consolidation and delivery route for the clusters.  Now when I double click on my clusters in edit mode and navigate to the Import Targets tab, I am not able to modify this tab.  I have been following the cCTS for CHARM and QGM Configuration guide.

I have a problem with copying an old SAP version.

The release is a SAP Enterprise 4.7. I have to make a system copy about this system with mssql 2000. Everything is 32bit (OS, SAP and the DB too).

I read the note 967124 - 6.20/6.40 Patch Collection Installation: Windows. This note mention the installation master (51043575). So I downloaded this DVD for IA32 with the following label:

The note 967124 said that:

I installed the MSSQL 2000 SP4 32bit on the server, then I run the sapinst system copy for 4.7 enterprise, mssql, non-unicode options.

When the installer asks the Kernel DVD, I got the following error message:

Found the label SAP:AKK:640:KERNEL:SAP Kernel 640_EX2:WINDOWS_I386:CD51030xxx but need the label MSSQL:AKK:6.40:KERNEL:*:I386

Where can I found this DVD? Can I ask it from SAP via a new incident message?

Hi,

I am getting an error when using JCO3 for connection. I have specified the connection string and created the destination object.

I get a null pointer exception while setting the import parameter for the RFC. the error is as shown below.

java.lang.NullPointerException:
while trying to invoke the method
com.sap.conn.jco.JCoFunction.getImportParameterList() of a null object loaded

the sample code is as follows:-

We are planning to use SAP Fiori and Gateway as a Standalone Server and with CRM 7.0 and CRM 702 which is running since 3 years.

In the first box we will install Latest Netweaver with Addon of SAP Gateway, but we are confused with the Fiori part.

Question: Is Fiori supported by CRM 7.0 and CRM 7.0 EHP2?

2. Is there any backend component which has to be installed on CRM Server?

I have gone through the scn documents and still not clear.

Can anyone help me in clarifying my doubts?

im searching for a way to get the version / buildinformation of a software component in java.

I can get the version and buildinformation of a single project from the META-INF but not the buildinformation or versionnumber of the whole Application.

I there a way to get the actual buildinformation of a whole Application?

Hi All,

We are planning to go for an Upgrade with our Portal which is currently on 7.01 SP9 .The Usage types are AS, DI ,EPC and EP and JVM Version is 4.1.

Our Oracle is Upgraded to 11 and OS is AIX 6.

As per my understanding the OS and DB are compatible for the Upgrade ,the JVM needs to be upgraded to 6.1.

I have few queries regarding the Upgrade

• How to generate the component stack (stack.xml) file without the solman and mopz .Is stack.xml file mandatory for the Upgrade .
• If we download all the components manually without the help of stack.xml file and put this in trans/EPS folder and run SUM will this work.
• how to upgrade the ESS business package, and configure it.
• Any take care points before and after the Upgrade.

Any docs related to the upgrade and issues faced while upgrade would be helpful.
