SWPM - Parallel Ex-/Import - Slow FTP

$

Dear all,

we are using SWPM for parallel export and import our SAP system. Transfer to remote system is done by FTP within SWPM.

When we use FileZilla for transferring one file to the remote FTP server our 1 GBit network adapter is used by around 20%.

When we use SWPM and one file transferred it uses only around 2% of the 1 GBit network adapter. So we have to use 50 parallel processes and enough completely exported files to get a high transfer rate. Please find attached screenshot with transfer rates over the whole process.

Your suggestions how we can speed up the transfer rate are highly appreciated.

Best regards

Peter

Dear Expert,

We have a requirement where our client is looking for Oracle upgrade to 12c with EHP7 .  Current they are on oracle 10g and ECC 6.0 with AIX 5.3 , Kindly suggest the best approach , In my mind Best Approach is below.

  • Export of ECC 6.0 and Migrate with Latest oracle to AIX 7.1
  • ECC EHP7 Upgrade on ECC

Kindly Suggest your Opinions also.

Hi there,

I'm trying to install NW 7.01 with SQL Server 2008 as the back end on Windows 2008 R2.

However I keep getting this error:

ODBC driver for MS SQL Server is not installed. SOLUTION: Read the installation guide on how to install the MS SQL Server client software for the SAP system.

Can someone point me to the correct document or give me some tips on why I might be getting this install error?

Thanks,

matt

How to track the changes for one table.

$

Hi Guys,

I know there is a option "Log Data Changes", but when I enabled this option, I see the error "table UJF_DOC for logging is too long(Key<250, data division<16.0000)". It looks like it's not possible to use this option to track the changes this table.

The background information behind this purpose. I suspect someone or some program deleted the entries from this table. As a result, there is something wrong in the application level. However, we don't know when, by who/program.  I am not sure if there is any alternative way to find the "ghost". For example, can I use some feature like "Where Used". Then I may find out if this table is used in any program. Then I can check this program and see if there is some code "delete from this table".

Appreciate if you could provide me with some suggestions.

Best regards,

Charlie

Hello,

I'm searching information about the potential side effect of an upgrade of a SAP Content Server (to version 650 on NW 7.5) and the ECC 6.0 system connected (version NW7.0).

Is there known issues with this configuration of our two systems ?

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,

Greg

problem with Zebra label Printer TLP 2844

Dear all,

our brasilian SAP users have a Zebra label printer TLP 2844.

In SAP I used the wizard for the device type selection so that device typ YBZ200 is used.

Our problem is that the print job is processed without problems in SAP and the windows spooler but nothing is printer out on the printer.

Do you have an idea what could be wrong with the printer as printing has worked before.

The labels are created with transaction SE71 and form RM07ETIKETT.

SAP support says that erverything is fine in our SAP system and that they are able to print from our SAP system to their Zebra printer with host spool access method G.

I asked our brasilian SAP users to test this way too and it failed too.

Any idea what' wrong with the printer ? Any idea what is misconfigured ?

Thanks and kind regards,

Arnd
