We just upgraded our BW system to 7.31 level 5. We have a 7.x BEx query (Income Statement) with a structure defined for the rows. The bottom member of the structure is NET INCOME (LOSS). When drilling down by any characteristic (Account Number, Posting Period, Quarter, etc.), there is the usual Overall Result total line for each member of the structure except NET INCOME (LOSS). I made a test copy and moved other members (OPERATING EXPENSES, NON-OPERATING EXPENSES, etc.) to the bottom. In all cases, there is no Overall Result for the bottom member when drilling down by any characteristic. The Overall Result is displayed for all other members of the row structure. In other words, an Overall Result is displayed for NET INCOME (LOSS) when drilling down by Account Number if it isn't the bottom member. There is no Overall Result displayed for NET INCOME (LOSS) when it is the bottom member.
I have searched SAP Notes and can't find anything on this issue. Have any of you experienced this issue? If so, how did you solve it?
Thanks,
