SP12 shows Huge spool files in database

Hi All,

We recently applied the service pack onto our SAP system and saw that huge files are being created in the Spool for the background user. (>5000 pages)

Would anyone have an idea as to what the root cause for these huge spool files would being created for the background user?

I have attached screenshots of the consistency check for the SP12 transaction. I am a functional analyst at the client site and any help would be appreciated.
