Hi experts,

I'm trying to install NWDS for development of PI Mail adapter custom module.

We're running on PI 7.02 SP12 and I've downloaded JIDE12_0-10002804.SAR from Markeplace (where it says SAP Netweaver Developer Studio 2.0 SP12).

Afterward I've downloaded SAPCAR 7.01 - Windows on x64 64bit (I'm using Win7 64bits) as I didn't see any SAPCAR for 7.02, only 4.6, 6.20, 7.00, 7.01, 7.20.

I faced some issues in the prompt to start the JIDE12xxx.SAR unpacking:

1 -  'SAPCAR' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

operable program or batch file. (this thread fixed http://scn.sap.com/thread/398418).

2 -  SAPCAR: could not open for writing ./J2EE-RUNT-CD/IDE/eclipse/plugins/com.sap.ide.webdynpro.checklay

er/docs/api/com/sap/ide/webdynpro/checklayer/componentcontrollerusage/ComponentControllerUsageChecke

r.html (error 28). The system cannot find the path specified. (these threads fixed https://scn.sap.com/thread/1963099 and http://scn.sap.com/thread/2143327) also this one helped http://www.easymarketplace.de/SAPCAR.php.

I was using JRE 1.6 and have downgraded to 1.4.2_19 but now I'm getting the following error:

We need to upgrade Netweaver 7.3 to 7.31  ABAP application server,  we used solution manager MOPZ to calculate stack xml file and downloaded stack files.

During extraction phase in SUM(software update manager), it asked to mount the kernel DVD. Below the message we see on the screen:

Enter mount points for the DVDs required for the procedure

Enter at least the mount point containing Kernel DVD for OS WINDOWS_X86_64 and Non Unicode

The requested data carrier is not mounted on any of the mount points you entered.

Please find the attached screen shot of the error,  so Please help to resolve the problem.

even though i have calculated stack.xml files it is asking for Kernel files. Please let me know for which kernel file i need to downlod.

Is it for NW 7.3 or do in Need to download kernel master DVD for NW 7.3 EHP1 installation?

It would be very helpful if you could provide the exact  media number and path of the files.

We are implementing ESS for Singapore. Dates are being shown in MMDDYYYY format - we need DD.MM.YYYY, which is the Singapore standard.

Our large user base all have language EN, country SG.

With reference to Note 947081, dated 07.09.2006, I'd like to enquire if there is a solution or workaround to the limitation given in the Note:

"Known Limitations

10. Calendar date formatting for Singapore

The calendar date formatting for the locale "en_SG" Singapore is MM/DD/YYYY similar to the US American date format.

This is a feature of the SUN Java JVM. It is not possible, by means of

SAP NetWeaver, to change this behaviour."

SAP informs us there is no update from them overcoming this problem.

Changing the user master for the entire user base is not feasible.

System details: We are running on Unix Server, Java from IBM.

Inconsistencies: Any MESSAGES containing dates from R/3 come in DD.MM.YYYY

Hello, everybody.

Standart TCP/IP connection named "MDX Parser" doesn't work. It says "timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV' : cmRc=20 thRc=456 Timeout dur".

When I try to run mdxsvr in command line it says that librfc32.dll could not be found.

And there is no such dll in the directory with mdxsvr, but there is a librfc32u.dll.

How can I solve this problem?

I m running a newly installed MSCS Solution Manager 7.1

All the post processing activities have been done including ICF services activation (SICF),

I am able to get to the login screen after executing the transaction  (Solman_Setup)

but after entering the login credentials and login  i m receiving " HTTP 500 error (The website cannot display a web page)"

I already set the FQDN (icm/host_full_name) profile instance and adjusted the ETC/Host file.

Please help me out in this.

I have implemented webdynpro Java program to download the data from Webdynpro Java table to MS Excel, but it is unable to download the Chinese Characters from the Webdynpro app Table to Excel? Wondering if there is any Unicode issue (english-english download) is working fine.

Currently we are on WAS 7.0,

NWDS Version: 7.0.18

Would really appreciate if you could let me know if there is any Java api / Java class in any package which does not have Unicode limitation, and can handle Chinese Characters?

I am trying to patch upgrade java component SAP_JTECHS from SP 7.01.9.26 to SP 7.01.13.0 through JSPM. It is throwing error during deployment of one of the development component as

Hi ,

We have been getting the following errors‘Duplicated R/3 keys found’ in middleware. We get this error when we run replication for Equipments (SyncBO ID : MAM25_031 , Log Level : 5 ) via transaction MEREP_EX_REPLIC.

We need to delete these errors from middleware somehow. Please let me know why we are getting these errors and how can we delete these errors from middleware or how to resolve it ?

                  we have ABAP AND JAVA STACK with 2 diff SID, and same database.

                  i am having problem starting JAVA stack NWA   which says -- Error: Remote access to the NetWeaver Administrator is forbidden. See SAP Note XXXXX for details.

                 I had found a note in marketplace note number is Note 1625632 - NWA redirect provides no SAP Note number.

                the solution provided in this note is :

               The correct SAP Note number is 1451753. It is available after the upgrade of  LMNWAUIFRMRK SCA. For more information, see the SP Patch Level section of this SAP note.

               now for this i have to apply LMNWAUIFRMRK SCA PATCH. To apply this patch in java stack, we require stack XML file.

               as am unable to add system to solman7.1 i can not generate a stack XML.

                is there any way to apply only that particular patch (without STACK XML).

              how to proceed further.

Please find below the facts:

1) Existing ECC 6.0 Dev system copied to new system. we have clients - 000, 100,150

2) Upgrded to EHP4 and applied IS-Utilities Add on

Now, after the EHP4 upgrade, If i goto SPRO, I see the new customizing data or entries related to configure the system only in client 000. NOT in 100 and 150. Is it normal??? If it is, there should be some way to move the entries from one client to other, right? There may be several people who had worked on an N+1 landscape. Can someone tell me how to get these customizing or data entries to client 100 - which is our development client?

1) Can I do a client copy without overwriting the existing customizing in client 100? Can the client copy append to the existing customizing?

2) Any other ways to do it?

Anyone knows how to install sap netweaver in  ubuntu 10.04, debian 6.0 or fedora 15? no tutorials on how to do it, and need to know how to do, thanks.

Hi everybody, I'm facing printing problems using ADS. The scenario I have is:

SAP ERP ECC6 AS + Solman AS with Portal Netweaver WEB AS

What we do were, use the SFP in SAP ERP ECC6 AS to print the forms in connection with the Solman Portal. We get ready all the parameterizations that have been mentioned in all the SAP notes concerning ADS.

We need to print Adobe form from transactions SFP, We have defined a printer of type PDF1 and we tried printing with this and the returning error was the next:

We are trying to send an external mail from ECC.

The mail is come to SOST and with the status "Dispatch Time Not at Reached".

why we are getting this status and we are not getting any external mails.
