As for the learning purpose i need to configure cluster on windows server 2008 R2 for installing HA with oracle . Which document i need to follow for configure MSCS on windows server 2008 R2 .
I have install 4 server with windows server 2008 R2.
1) first i have install for virtual SAN
2) second i have install for ADS
3) third will be my first cluster
4) fourth will be my another cluster .
Please send me any link which is recommended by sap to follow for MSCS on 2008 server R2.

We are running BW 7.3 SP9, no dual system, 2 separate stacks for Java and ABAP.
We consider applying kernel 7.20 EXT on the ABAP Stack. Do we have to apply the kernel update for the Java stack as well?
It’s a good practice to keep the support packages at same level on both the Java stack and the abap stack.
What is the relation between the kernels on the Java and ABAP stack?
Are there any dependencies we should be aware of?

In our client system which is installed as High Availability system in MSCS cluster the command ensmon.exe pf=D:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\profile\SID_ERS01_HOSTNAME showing no replication server is connected as shown below
Replication is enabled in server, but no repl. server is connected
But it has to show repl.server is connected.
System Details :
ECC 6.0 SR3 Dual Stack System installed on two nodes with CI & DI with different system numbers.
Applications on both nodes are up and running and the application on second node is working as DI during normal time.
Enque replications services are up and running on both nodes.
Kindly suggest on what should be the enque replication server status if node2 is working as DI during normal time.

As per ERS concept as in below link that locks are carried to Node2 by ERS server in case of failover.

If the user1 wants to resume the last activity of Node1 in Node2 then it will show the table is being locked by
the user1(same user name)
In this case do we need to delete locks on node2 manually from sm12?
For every time during failover do we need to perform this activity?

First time, when I run this SQL, dump occurs. Like following:

What happened? Error Text of the Database: "POS(1) Communication packet too small"
But after refresh UI and execute this SQL again, the dump not happens again.
After one day, everything looks appear again.
Is there anybody knows why?

We created a new group INTERNAL_RFC in RZ12 without the Central Instance in to reduce RFC traffic on the CI but I'm having some problems assigning. I get the message:
"Function not possible in this state"
When trying to assign the new group. I overcome this in SMQS by de-registering the queues in 'waiting', making the change, and re-registering.
In SMQR it still won't let me change after de-registering... status is always in 'Wait' (there are some huge queues).
Any ideas?

On BI Production system I am getting ST22 : ABAP Run time error (TIME_OUT)
The Parameter value of rdisp/max_wprun_time = 3600 (1hr) which is maximum value. Even then we are getting around 20 to 30 Dumps. Can any suggest a Note, so that tell my application team to run their programs in Background.

Xming is installed on WinXP/Win7 and working very well (e.g. visual administrator, configtool). There is only a problem with sapinst. It starts without any error and the windows open, but nothing is clickable.

I used to think this was possible under the old SPAM update method, but with NW 7.40 SP05, you have to use SUM.
I need to apply SAP Netweaver 7.40 SP05, to an SAP SEM-BCS system.
The SEM-BCS is the one which is included in a stripped down ERP 6 EHP 7 install.
The stack for ERP 6 EHP 7 SPS02 includes Netweaver 7.40 SPS04.
I need SPS05 which requires Kernel 7.41.
How the heck can I generate a stack in MOPz to just update the underlying Netweaver components and not the ERP/SEM-BCS layer?
I thought that support package stacks were introduced to ensure you only upgrade to a complete consistent and compatible stack.
I don't know if I need to go back to SAP and tell them I can't apply their suggested upgrade path. (That's right, SAP suggested this).

We performed an upgrade to our BW 7.01 environment. We followed the ASU recomendations prior and after the upgrade. Everything seems to be OK except for the fact that we are unable to retrieve data from the source systems. The connections are OK and "Activate" and "Check" give positive feedback.
I've attached the error we're receiving in the BW monitor regarding the process.
Any ideas of what can be wrong?
I've double checked most of the BW configuration, base on another 7.31 environment, and everything seems to be setup OK.

We have this newly upgraded portal system 7.4 from EHP2 NW 7.0, on which ADS is not starting up.
On further digging up, it was observed that one of it's dependent service i.e document services license manager is not starting up.

What version does SAProuter supported?
